Eric & Ashley : E-Session

Click on the picture below to view their engagement pictures.

We have also loaded some pretty awesome videos of the engagement session as well. Go to the main blog site.

Behind

I know I'm behind on my posts. I started my new job at Burkhart Advertising on Tuesday and I LOVE it!

I am going to post a couple right now. This one will be about the baby.

Bryce is teething his 5th or 6th (maybe both) tooth right now and he's not taking it very well. He hasn't wanted to eat very much, is up all night, and had a temp of 103.2 yesterday night. We took him to the doctor when I got home from work (don't worry he didn't have that high of a temp until later in the day) and the doctor gave him some medicine. It broke his fever and he's been back to the Bryce everyone knows and loves. It was really say to have him playing on my lap one minute and the next he stops cold turkey and passes out on me. I'm glad he's snapped out of it.

I am the Customer Service for the South Bend department for Burkhart Advertising. If you don't know who they are, they are the major billboard company in our area. Check out the new digital sign on SR 23 in front of Martin's. If you take 23 going away from the mall you'll see it. Essential, 5 (I think) companies can post their billboards on there and can have up to 15 designs on it. That's pretty awesome. I haven't seen it yet. We're taking a field trip tomorrow to look at the different billboards and that will be one of them.

Okay, on to more posts so I can go to bed.

Dana's Girls

After taking these pictures before Easter, I was sworn to secrecy. Now that Mother's Day has come and gone and my Aunt Dana received her pictures, I can finally post. Even though there was still snow on the ground, my cousins did an awesome job.

This one was the winner

Todd & Nicole : E-Session

I am pleased to announce that one of the three E-Sessions shot on Saturday is ready to be viewed. Click on the picture below to see their pictures.

New Opportunities

As of Tuesday, I will officially be a working girl again. Well, outside the home working girl. I was just given the job as Customer Service Rep at Burkhart Advertising. I am so excited. This was the one job I knew I had to pursue. It stood out from all the rest.

I will be posting quite a bit this weekend as our E-Sessions are coming to a close and ready to be viewed. I still have pictures from Tyler's baseball game and the last time I saw Josie (which was about a month ago) to edit and post. Don't worry, I'll be diligent today.

Excitement

I am so excited to announce that my husband has yet again outdone himself. While I was away, we was busy working on a new logo. I am so thrilled to say he has been diligent on perfecting it and making it look amazing for the site and the blog. We are slowly, but surely perfecting the site, but I am very pleased to say that Chris is very creative and I am blessed to be a part of his life and business. Visit our site or the GLP Blog to see what's new, but first, here's a sneak peak.

On our way home

We are in Knoxville, TN right now. We have about 10 hours to go before we reach our destination, HOME SWEET HOME! We left our condo at 11 this morning and got gas and Chick Fil-A. On our way out of Myrtle Beach, we hit the noon show of Dolphins & Whales in the IMAX 3D theater. I've never seen an IMAX film before so I was pretty psyched.

On our way out of the theater to get to the interstate, I saw this cute little Restaurant. I had to take a picture. For those of you that don't know the significance of this picture, this is my maiden name, Landry. We are ALL seafood lovers so it's just the perfect picture for my family.

Have a Happy Mother's Day everybody!

Myrtle Beach Day 1

After getting only 2 and half hours of sleep, Christi and I woke up at 4:30 (well, she woke up at 4:30 and I woke up at 5) and headed out to the beach for our 6 am Trash the Dress session. Once again, Chrissy and Paul were magnificent. The camera loves them and they love the camera.

While waiting on Chrissy and Paul, I saw this little thing bolt across the sand. It was so cute.

I remember walking Ocean City, MD beaches at night with my mom and she would scoop up the sand looking for these little crabs. I've never seen one until now.

Right now, Christi is finishing up the pictures. Check her blog soon, she'll posting her favorites.

Now in Myrtle Beach

On our drive out to Myrtle Beach we drove through the mountains. We kept waiting for a place to stop and capture the beautiful handiwork of our Lord's masterpiece. No such luck. After a while we were getting low and gas. 30 miles to the next gas station on 1/8 of a tank. I DON'T THINK SO! We found one oddly enough and as we pulled in, I noticed these cows on a farm. I had to capture something, they were it.

We arrived at 12 am Thursday morning. This is what we drove up to. BEAUTIFUL, 3 tower hotel. I couldn't believe it. It's absolutely gorgeous. There's even a lazy river in the tower 2 and one outside as well. To bad I didn't bring something to relax in the river in (because there is no getting me in the ocean).

I think I'll stink with lounging on our deck to relax. With this view, who wants to lay in a fake river.

We have an early morning trash the dress session with the bride and groom and we need to get some sleep. So, off to bed.

Chris, give Bryce lots of kisses and tell him to be good and sleep for you. I miss you and love you both.

Ps. I'll probably post a few pictures of scenic things I might find, but you won't see any pics from the wedding until after the bride and groom have seen them, check back in about a month.

Canon 30D

I am so excited to announce that my NEW camera came in on Friday. I've had some fun playing around with it this weekend.

This is Bryce in my new chair I found at a garage sale this weekend. They were just giving it away. This has become mine and Bryce's chair.
I LOVE that face.
He was playing with the curtains.
Performing for the camera.
He wanted my camera. This is my new favorite picture of him.
That's my boy.
Playing on the chair again.
Look at his curls
Handsome boy
One of the chair's fastners is coming off, he likes to play with it.

I will be leaving bright and early tomorrow morning for Myrtle Beach. I'm still not packed. I am very excited to go, but sad to leave my husband and son. I've never left either of them before. The wonders of cell phones is showing to be a wonderful invention for times like these. If I don't get the chance to say goodbye to you personally, GOODBYE!
